Doritos tablet: absolute genius!

This spoof of the iPad ad from Doritos is absolutely genius!
Also I like the idea of a company “spoofing” another company.

Technically it’s a dictatorship…

Internazionale is, IMHO, the best Italian magazine, and most of all one of the few which are objective. Giovanni De Mauro, the director, is and experienced and measured professional, but this time could not keep it in.
And I totally agree with his editorial:

E l’opposizione? E i sindacati?

English version (my translation):

“Tecnically we can call it a dictatorship.
Maybe we didn’t realize it yet because we’re used to Greek colonels or to the Chilean army. But substance is what matters, not appearance.
Today you do not need to send tanks to take over the tv networks, you just change the directors. You don’t need to bomb the parliament, you just prevent voters from choosing the members of the parliament. You don’t need to suspend judges and tribunals, you just ignore them. You don’t need to nationalize the most important companies of the country, you just give a phone call to the managers in the board of directors.
And what about the opposition? And the trade unions? Does anyone really think that this opposition and these trade unions can do anything? The only truly dangerous people are the criminals and the mafia, but you can sit at the table with them and find an agreement.
You can even leave some newspapers around and allow a demonstration every once in a while, so that nobody gets scared. And appearance is safe.”
